How do I clear cache and cookies from a browser?

Over time, web browsers accumulate data in the form of cache and cookies. While these improve load times, they can also lead to outdated site versions or privacy concerns.

Clearing Steps

  1. Google Chrome: Navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Privacy and security’ > ‘Clear browsing data’. Choose ‘Cookies and other site data’ and ‘Cached images and files’, then ‘Clear data’.
  2. Mozilla Firefox: Go to ‘Options’ > ‘Privacy & Security’. Under ‘Cookies and Site Data’, click ‘Clear Data’.
  3. Safari: Opt for ‘Preferences’ > ‘Privacy’ > ‘Manage Website Data’ and then ‘Remove All’.
  4. Microsoft Edge: Select ‘Settings’ > ‘Privacy, search, and services’. Under ‘Clear browsing data’, choose what to clear.

Regularly clearing cache and cookies can free up storage and protect privacy.
